I've had many years of nursing experience, ultimately as a community palliative care nurse, (see my About Me page) and I know that hope is always there even in the darkest times. You may not be in the most dire straits, but just feel that talking things over with someone impartial, who is really interested in your story and your wellbeing, could make a difference. When you talk, sometimes there can be a flash of understanding; more often there's a gradual improvement as you begin to see and become more like who you really are, and start to take control of your life.
